FAQs

  • Thank you for your interest in my practice! For all new clients I always set up a free 15 minute phone call before scheduling an initial appointment to ensure I am a good fit and able to meet your treatment needs. Please message me here or email me at dr@josephstrickermd.com if you would like to set up a phone consultation.

  • I am seeing patients who are located in New Jersey and California. You must be physically be located in these states at the time of our appointment as these are the states where I am currently licensed to practice medicine.

  • I am not paneled with any insurance carrier. I am able to provide a receipt of services which may allow you to submit an out-of-network claim to your insurance for reimbursement if this is an option with your insurance. You should speak with your insurance to understand your out of network benefits before initiating treatment if you plan to use out of network benefits to understand if this is an option for you.

  • Yes I will be sharing privacy policies and clinic policies with you to review and sign prior to our initial evaluation.

  • Due to the limited number of clinic hours and demand for services, I require that cancellation requests for appointments be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice or not showing for an appointment will be responsible for the full session fee. Patient emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • I am not offering in person appointments at this time. I am only seeing patients by telehealth. Most conditions can be treated by telehealth. There are some circumstances where finding an in person provider is preferable. If you have questions whether telehealth is the right option for you, I am happy to discuss this with a phone consultation.
